I've contacted Adobe because I was completely unable to install Flash with the 900kb installer-downloaders which always flood me with strange errors (and delete themselves from the run location! so you can't launch the installer-downloader after failure, have to re-download it), and they sent me this link.

On the standard installation page the "Install Now" button links to the download page =..., you should append &standalone=1 to the end, then it'll let you download the normal standalone offline installer.

If you download the flash player cab file for Microsoft System Center/SCCM, extract the xml file from the it, then you'll see the msi file listed in the xml file. There's a link for the activex installer and also the Mozilla/firefox/netscape plugin.

Here are direct links from there to save you a click:
Flash Player for Internet Explorer - ActiveX
Flash Player for Firefox - NPAPI
Flash Player for Opera and Chromium-based browsers - PPAPI

You'll also need an old web browser version to go with that. I'd suggest you look at the Firefox archives: with a version less than 85, though to make life easier, I'd go with version 51.0.1 as there are no special steps needed to re-enable npapi.

None of the solutions here will work today anymore in the year 2023.Even if you find the original installer anywhere, it will be useless because Microsoft has blocked the installation on Windows 10 and 11. All that you get will be this stupid error:

But this does not mean that there is no solution. I wrote a software "PTBSync" which among other features displays a desktop calendar where the user can select a Flash Clock and other utilities to be displayed on the desktop. Therefore Adobe Flash must be installed.

I extracted the Flash files and the registry entries from an intact installation and offer it on my homepage. You can download a ZIP file with the latest Flash version and copy the files to your disk and double click the .REG file. So you get Flash running on your Windows 10 or 11 within one minute.

This thread pointed to an installer (as part of a sub comment), but the link is dead. Further, the only offline installers available seem to only install the 32-bit version, even on a 64-bit system as seen in the Control Panel (below).

The other way is to request permission to distribute Adobe products. You have to submit a request and it usually takes a week or two to get approved, but then they give you a linke for direct download.

P.S. I always find this page by Googling "troubleshoot flash player" (minus the quotes), and it is the first link. I can never seem to find it directly otherwise. This method does not require any permission.

If you need the flash player offline installer, you can download it from this official link:
you'd better download both the NPAPI and PPAPI if your environment has Firefox and Google Chrome deployed.

Then you got the offline installer! (Works on OSX 10.12.1. But if you are on OSX 10.11, you might still got the online installer, I tried on Safari, Firefox, Chrome, very odd!)

After the offline installer downloaded, open the dmg file, and show the contents of the install.app, you will find the pkg installer under /Contents/Resources/. Upload the pkg file to the Casper Admin and deploy it.

If you sign up your organization at the distribution link that @Josh.Smith mentioned, you're given a "distribution4" URL that is specific for your organization, and that gets you access to the pkg installers.

When I try the "Download now" button at , I only get a stub installer that then requires downloading the remainder of the installer. I maintain both my own PC and my wife's PC. I want to install Flash Player 11.1.102.63 twice but download it only once.

hey pat.. yes, i sent chris campbell some pms, but, as far as i can tell, they haven't been read.. first i said that one of the links wasn't working and then i said that it is working, now.. so, everything seems good, now, as far as i know.. thanks for your help..

Hi redwolfe (and others on this thread). I brought this issue up with our management team and we did try and resolve this with Akami on Tuesday. If you see this occur again with future builds, please feel free to contact me directly (ccam...@adobe.com) and I'll work to get it resolved faster.

My apologies - the above comment is not correct; currently all three download locations I listed download the older version 11.1.102.62. I will check with Adobe where the full installers for the 11.1.102.63 version are.

At , the link for "Flash Player for other browsers" under "Windows 32-bit" finally has Flash Player 11.1.102.63. While this resolves my immediate problem, I still would prefer Adobe to make Flash Player availabe via FTP from its ftp.adobe.com server.

in adobe's security bulletins, it says that you can download the updated versions of "flash player 10" on the "archives" webpage but there are no direct downloads for FP 10 on the webpage, except for downloading the zipped packages, with the "debuggers".. it would be good if there were direct downloads for the updated versions of FP 10..

also, when i go to the "download center" page, =BUIGP , if i go there with "firefox 3.6", it recognizes that i am running "firefox 3.6" and offers to install "flash player 10.3", but if i go there with "internet explorer 6", it is not recognized and so i am not offered "flash player 10.3", for installing.. in this situation, i need some other way to get "flash player 10.3" for "internet explorer 6"..

adobe should make things easier for everyone by providing direct downloads for flash player..in my case, i use "flash player 10", so i need direct downloads for it.. yes, it is nice that the downloads are posted in the forum, but why not do it right and have in on some webpage, like on the "archives" webpage where adobe says that "flash player 10" can be downloaded, except that there are no links there for downloading it..

I think the page is titled as such because Windows 10 integrates Flash Player in IE/Edge browsers and the ActiveX Control content on that page doesn't apply to Windows 10 (or 8.1). The NPAPI and PPAPI plugin content on the page does apply to all supported versions of Windows, including Windows 10.

Your comment on the offline installer does not make sense. The offline installer is the complete file package. The online installer is the one that is a shim installer that downloads and installs Flash Player silently in the background. Many software companies use a shim installer to download software. Adobe isn't the only one.

Also there are tons of companies not using shim installer or offer both in a simple way. Most technically inclined people (we here) do not like this method so adobe should be customer friendly and provide what we ask for. I think we have had this topic for the last 2-3 years where people google and look for the offline installer just to end up in the forum and find this magical place you call "tech note"

I use Adobe premiere which is great but i'm not the biggest fan of Flash and to be honest i'm very happy that we now have HTML5 and lash is being used less and less. Hopefully we wont bother you more at one point

This tech note you keep mentioning, i did ask you how a user goes from main page to "tech note". You never answer me. That would help people! If you can not then it should be added. Just as you ask for information and expect people to give that to you we also ask for information but sadly we just get a sentence "posted to the tech note".

Flash Player installers are available for customers with a distribution license (free for most use cases) for organizations to deploy. Please go to Adobe Flash Player Distribution Adobe to apply for a distribution license. Do not use public domain email addresses, such as gmail, hotmail, yahoo, etc as they are not allowed. Most distribution license requests are processed virtually immediately, however, it can take up to three (3) business days to receive a reply. The email reply will come from nor...@adobe.com and contain a signed PDF attachment. Please ensure your spam filters are configured to not block the email

If you do not receive a reply within three (3) business days, please private message me the Adobe ID/email address used to request the distribution license and I'll follow-up with the licensing team. To send a private message, click on my user_name link and then on the 'Message' button link. For reference, please include a link to this discussion topic.

My network does not have the ability to contact the internet to draw the needed install files using the installer on the download page. I need to find an offline package with everything in it that I can take into my environment. Anyone have a link?

I downloaded the standalone parts from the warframe website from b0 to b5 every file is 2 GB except the b5 file is 1.20 GB and the exe file and i thought that when i put them together in a folder and click the exe file it will work but it just start upgrading and downloading 9400 MB ....so how does the standalone installer work?

It's also a bit vague when you mentioned "upgrading and downloading". Were you referring to the launcher? Perhaps the offline installer is outdated and it's trying to patch to the recent version on first run?
