It's not the 64 bit clients fault for people crashing in ft, it's their trash computers, now we have to put up with using 1% of our computer on 32bit and lag entire time. Please enable 64 client again

No seige. No Panda. Even Luna is a Lag-fest. I only put up with it for the Xp bonus then log out after my Luna runs because despite altering my setting every which way as described elsewhere here in the forums, there is just too much lag. Happy Anniversary. I love this game and the next two weeks will be hard for me because I can't do jack crap because of this oh-so awesome event.

Tried that and it worked, but the loading time of the client ist just terrible. Takes me up to 30min to load one and it doesn't allow me to launch a 2nd client since it gives me a "system error (20)" and shuts down my 2nd client. *sighs* I don't have that issue with the 32bit client, so w/e works.

Done that before, same thing! I'm playing on a potato laptop, so I'm aware about the small tricks to make it run faster. Sadly dual clienting while "forcing" 64bit client, doesn't work for me. Thankies for your reply though. I'm sure some of the people here have a use for it! :3

Need to add, with the 32bit client I have no issues at all. No sendlogs, nothing what others experience, although I'm running everything on 64bit before and this is the first time having issues with it since the enabled the 64bit client. *sighs*

Works for me on a second client. Using the renaming bin64 to bin32 method was I made sure the config.ini file in aion/data/dump was not set to read only. Then I deleted tables.dmp in aion/data/dump folder. I then launched aion like normal this part will take awhile to load because its creating a new tables.dmp file. After aion finishes loading I exit the client. I open notepad in administrator mode and open config.ini located in aion/data/dump. I then make sure ValidTableDump=1 and NormalStop=1 I then close out of notepad and set config.ini to read only. Then I run aion like normal and am able to load fast using 64bit using up to 2 clients.

Don't forget to undo these changes whenever there is an update.

Is this still the only way to use 64 bit clients? I'm moving Aion to my SSD as we speak, and I'm thinking I wouldn't have as much of a problem with the loading screens, but it kinda sucks they don't have an option for us to simply select which one we want to use.

It's only the Aion Classic client which makes the NC Launcher think you are still playing the game after quitting the game, until you kill the Aion Game Client in the Task Manager, which is proving to be a pain.

Please, for the love of all that is holy, tell us this is at least KNOWN about by the devs. (Telling support doesn't accomplish anything.) I see us all talking about it here on the forums and in LFG in-game. I know it's not just a few people. It happened maybe once a month pre-5.6. With the release of 5.6, it happens every hour for me. There is no pattern. I can be in a big instance, like siege, or I can be standing still in the broker, halfway afk and playing on my phone. Without fail, the screen will freeze for 5 seconds and then the client will close out with that stupid send log error that we all loathe. To add insult to injury, we then have to wait 5-7 minutes to get back into the game because it starts the progress loading bar (which inevitably stalls at 64%); this wait time can kill a group, and we'll usually get kicked out of the group, thus ruining one of our instance entries. Is this being looked into at all?

Im also having this issue since merge. I have a beast of a PC and ive lowered my graphics and tried pretty much anything else even file repairing to see whats going on. Nothing works, still happens about every hour on the hour no matter what im doing.

But seriously im sick of it costing me quest rewards, errors time out on daily log in rewards to the point you just have to delete the item because it shows that its been used. Ive lost numerous S ranks and CU is becoming a waste of time because i dc half way through every time and the barriers are destroyed by the time im back after the stupid load % bar just sits there!

Pull up your Aion folder, go into your bin64 folder, rename the aion.bin file to aion.bin.old, and then try launching the game again.

I don't know if it will stop the crashes or not, but it might! It just forces the 32bit client.

@Londonrain-DN I'm the OP of this thread. Since it was posted a couple months ago, I've tried several things since then. Here is what I found to help IMMENSELY. It does not complete rid me of sendlogs, but now instead of sendlogging 1-2 times per day, I only sendlog 1-2 times per week.

I have put my graphics settings back where they were, and instead of lowering them, I've changed my graphics card's battery usage. My card (Nvidia GTX 1050) was auto-set to battery save mode in the Nvidia control panel. This prevents Aion from exceeding 30fps. I have turned it to max battery usage mode because I always have my laptop plugged in. Now Aion can go up to 100fps if it wants (although that only happens on FTS; standard server in Norsvold keeps me around 40-50 lol). I don't know why because I'm not a techy, but that has greatly diminished the amount of sendlogs I get. Give it a try!

Regarding how long it takes to get back online after a sendlog, there is a fix for that. See this video below and then here are my added comments to it, copy-pasted from a FB thread I commented on earlier today lol:

"To add, inside the config file, the number after "NormalStop=" should be 1. (It will be 0 if you have sendlogged.) So you will need to start and end your client so that you have a clean log, which will make it say NormalStop=1. If it says NormalStop=0, you'll still have the loading screen. So make sure it says 1 before you set it to readonly.

Also, this will not prevent the client from showing the loading bar on Wednesdays after maintenance. It will still show then. It only prevents it after improper closure of the client (sendlogs)."

FIX: Add the Aion game to "Process Exclusions" in Windows Defender. (Although other sites did recommend more changes to Windows Defender, I made no other changes to Windows Defender.)

A recent Windows Update may be creating the crashes when we run high network games (like MMO's). With the Aion game running, and you are logged in, and you are near many other players, open Task Manager and look for high CPU in the Antimalware Service Executable:

After that, when the first loading screen appear, sometimes it doesn't go any further, and if i look at the task manager it says that the process is no longer responding. Then, i need to end the process and try to relaunch.

Lastly, if i succeed to access to my character list, time to time, it's impossible to connect them to the game. I put my pin code, but the "OK" button is unclickable. The only solution is to close the client and relaunch it.

I forgot to specify it in my post, but i'm using a brand new ASUS ROG STRIX SCAR 17 G733ZW-KH116W with a Intel Core i9-12900H processor, 32 GB DDR5 of RAM, a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics chip with 8 GB dedicated GDDR6 memory and a 1 TB M.2 4.0 PCIe SSD. My drivers and Windows 11 are up to date.

another server but same problems. (i play on retail) I tried to change every thing on my setup.. from w11 to w10... changing ssd deactivated ipv6(that seems to be one of the problems) ... now i changed the settings in gameforge files now all the programms start in admin mode. In my mind it helped a little bit but not at all... sometimes i get this problems again. Support told me to delete 2 Folders " l10n and data "than start repair in gameforge launcher i tried this on my backup pc and it doenst fix it :c

No ur not alone

With a new month starts a new season with new faces and new TOP players! Now everyone will have the opportunity to show themselves, to become the best, to get to the TOP players of the server and get rewards!
