(This is the page for the graphic novel adaptation of "Moon Rising." You may be looking for the book instead.) Moon Rising (graphic novel) is a comic adaptation of the sixth Wings of Fire book, Moon Rising, with art done by Mike Holmes. The book is written from the point of view of Moonwatcher...

I drew all the lineart in one sitting (except Winter and Icicle, I redrew them), then did all the coloring in another sitting (minus a few breaks to avoid insanity). This took maybe two and a half hours? Idk

I'm new here! I have a question relating to Wings of Fire #1 and #6. So when Peril says in book 1 that Queen Scarlett was feeding her 'Black Rocks' in order to stay alive, could they be the same 'Black Rocks' in book 6 that block Moons Mindreading???????????????????

Just kinda noticed all the recently revealed JMA students only have fan refs on their page and not their actual images from the GN. I would update the pages myself but I don't have my computer right now :'(

Finished reading graphic novel of "Moon Rising" of the Wings of Fire series. Was excited to see the start of the second arc especially since it introduces one of my favorite friendships of the series- Moon and Kinkajou!

The book is played properly to the 6th novel, great graphics throughout the book. it has one mistake with it but everything else is awesome. it is about Moonwatcher and her friends to stop icicle and Queen scarlet, and find the lost city of the night. Hope you enjoy as much as i did. Happy reading.

Newcomers should probably start with book 1 to understand the references to the first arc, but I think this can stand alone. But to truly experience the story, I still think the full middle grade novel is the best bet. This graphic novel can be a great introduction for newcomers to the story, and it can also be a great visual experience for readers who already love the novel.
