After my computer crashed due to some updates, I had to do a factory reset but keep my data. Unfortunately, all my archived emails after a certain date last year were lost. I've tried all sorts of solutions with limited success, including another recovery tool. By chance I found Recovery Toolbox, and it turned out that with the help of this product all my emails were recovered and neatly placed in the xxx.pst file, as they were before the failure.

I was converting my laptop from imap to pop email. I used your tool to convert the imap .ost file to .pst.
Mail and contacts came over correctly. Notes are the only piece that did not.
My Outlook PST files (30+GB) were still accessible but running off a hard-drive that had started to fail with bad sectors. I was unable to clone the drive or copy the PST files to a new location. Recovery toolbox was able to rebuild my data files as a new data file on a replacement drive location and continue to use my mail file after the recovery process. Tried many other recommended solutions but none were able to help with the recovery apart from the recovery toolbox for outlook.
the file I was trying to repair, had nothing wrong. Simply I wrongly backed-up my old e-mail history in a .ost file instead of a .pst file, and I needed to check some of the e-mails contained in that file.
Your program worked fantastic, and I successfully converted the .ost into .pst having back my old e-mails.

The OST files were not corrupted. My client got a system where the M465 mailbox was closed and the only access to old emails was from a local OST file on the same system. Outlook was reporting that it could not connect to the exchange server, but the 11GB OSt file was still there. Using Recovery Toolbox, we were able to create a PST file and access all the old emails.
My Outlook.pst became corrupted. Why? I have no freaking idea! This has happened several times and the hassle to get it back was time consuming and worrisome because I thought I lost all my contacts and calendar. In using Recovery Toolbox for Outlook, I have all my mail files on my C drive but I have my Outlook.pst file on my Google drive. I think that was the problem. So what I did was use Recovery Toolbox to fix my Outlook.pst file, move it to the subdirectory where the mail files are and it worked. I am so grateful and the price is excellent!!!
In the west, nothing new, nothing to do, even Microsoft is incapable; someone had put me before September 7 and it showed right away, 16 viruses erased by Microsoft's free scanner, but the damaged pst file, we can't find which one and I read my mail on my email, stella is no better, even worse. Finally, your presentation of all the psts is fine, but which one is bad? mystery....
I accidentally erased 3 months of Inbox email by clicking on the "Empty Folder" button. As part of my PC management, I backup my C Drive incrementally every night and that includes the OST and PST Outlook files. The backup copy of the PST file was missing 3 months of emails while the OST still had them but inaccessible. So, your program converted the OST to a new PST and I could recover the lost emails. My Outlook .OST file "lost" 99% of my Inbox, although subfolders were fine.
There was a "restore point' created just before the issue so I think O365 made a mess of an upgrade. Outlook could "open" the (much larger) restored file but promptly deleted the same files :( Recovery Toolbox was able to convert the back-up of the OST file to a .PST file which I could attach and extract the missing emails :)

The user said that Outlook 2019 hung and then crashed and then wouldn't open. We found that we had to detach his PST file from Outlook.
The PST is 6GB in size.
We ran SCANPST against it but it wouldn't repair.
We used your tool and it repaired the PST to where we could attach it to Outlook again.

My hosted Exchange mailbox got corrupted by moving too many mails too fast in the local Outlook. Toolbox was able to restore the missing items from the daily backup ost.
Some manual work needed to move the recovered items from the new substructure to the original (in my case less than 100 at the time, then wait for the folder to synchronize)

Because of foldernames and mail locations in my client (Outlook 2016) became corrupted I decided to freshly install Outlook. As I locally had only the .ost files I decided to purchase your tool; so I could convert these to .pst files that can be imported in Outlook. Your tool makes doing so just a breeze. Thank you.
I switched ISPs and during that process ended up with an .ost file that I could not import into Outlook. The ost file contained hundreds of emails that I needed for work.
Using the Recovery Toolbox software, I was able to convert the ost to pst and then load into Outlook.

I tried to install Outlook 2021, bought from the MS site.
Unfortunately it was unsuccessful. Stating that my existing outlook (2010) data file is corrupt.
Your software fixing the data file.
I had a large ost file of about 20GB on an imap account that no longer existed. I needed the data converted to pst format. Tried various exports of the data using Outlook but they all failed. The recovery tool converted the entire file to a pst with no loss of data. Exactly what I needed.
My source files were not damaged. Due to issues with outlook, I had to remove my outlook email address and re-add it. Before deleting the email address I copied the .ost file. I used the recovery software to convert the copied .ost file to a .pst file and added the .pst file as a datafile in outlook.
The Exchange service we were using stopped functioning. When switching to a new service I didn't convert my .ost to a .pst. Which I subsequently did with Recovery Toolbox, excellent tool.
I learned a lot about cache files.... like the ost doesn't contain mail older than a year by default. Which I can see in your logger before doing the conversion. So I'm still missing 18 months of mail and hoping I will eventually get it back from the Exchange service.
Now having trouble re-integrating the autofill file.dat in the Cache folder as I see that's separate.

I hired a tech from my local Wired office who tells me that the files were probably damaged during a M/S update. He says he "has never seen this problem before", uninstalled the entire Office suite after trying all other options and the problem persisted. Since I ceded control of my computer to him, I am not sure how he proceeded from there but he did eventually fix it.
Thankfully, his costs are reasonable.
One Outlook PST file repeatedly asked for password but didn't accept the password that I typed. I hadn't forgotten the pw and I absolutely know that I was typing it correctly. I tried the MS pst repair tool and some other free tools and then some that do a "teaser" recovery of a few items per folder. This tool recovered the content of the pst. The downside is that it didn't actually recreate the pst, it just recovered the content. The folders were recovered but not the folder structure, nor were the calendar entries recovered correctly particularly those with recurrences. To be honest, I am just grateful to have all the data back available to me and there appears to be nothing missing. Thank you for an excellent 99% product.
I reformatted my computer. The .PST did not get backed up in my incremental backup since Microsoft does not change the modified date of it unless you disconnect from Outlook. I used the recovery tool to get a .OST from the backup and convert it to a .PST - just what I needed!

I lost SENT ITEMS folder from my Outlook 2016 Inbox, it appears that I did something wrong with my mobile Outlook Client (Android) that made this happen, so synchronization ocurred with my Godaddy e-mail hosting and SENT ITEMS were fully deleted from my Outlook Laptop Client.
I tried to recover these emails from my Laptop computer, but recovery was only partial, some of them were successfully recovered, others not... I recovered only about 20% of the emails.

We decided to license Recovery Toolbox software for converting .OST to .PST files from some officers who have retired from Microsoft 365 licensing.
Additionally, it allowed us to recover PST files that could not be opened and used from Outlook.
