I downloaded Daemon tools from the official site (the first one that comes up in google, its www.daemon-tools.cc/eng/downloads) and when I clicked the download link Norton said that the site I was downloading the exe from was a known malicious site (something like soft24.com). It was talking about the mirror that was actually serving the file.
Unfortunately anti-virus software is not the smartest piece of software out there, and is really an annoyance to most Super Users. Although anti-virus software is necessary for keeping your PC safe, the user must realize that all "threats" it detects may not really be a threat. Daemon tools is a safe piece of software and is used by many.
2. Install Daemon Tools. When you got it go to the folder that has the 4 iso images you extracted. Double click on CD1. This will mount the image for you. Normally other cracks have separate installer for you so you can mount all 4 at once and just run setup but this one you need to go step by step.
Hi, kind of a noob with computers so can i ask for help? I see all these comments saying they mounted the .mds file but the game i downloaded (yandere) when extracted only has a .bin and .cue file. Which one should i mount? and do i paste the english patch before or after mounting?
hey new here and i may have over looked something but no matter what i do i cant mount the image for \do you like horny bunnies\ i am using daemon tools ultra, and daemon tools light, and neither one works, i get no symbol or anything in my system tray and when i try to mount it on Ultra all i get is \please insert the correct cd-rom. help please, i have tried making a virtual device but nothing i do seems to work
just installed the game, extracted with winrar, mounted with daemon tools copied and pasted the crack over, launch the game, select new game and it gets stuck on the first screen, sitting there looking at an empty room, a text bubble up with nothing in it but a single \
anyone having similar issues?
I have a problem as well. Tried installing Animamundi using Daemon tools lite. I was able to mount the ISO file and it told me the installation was successful, but there are no short cuts to enter the game, no buttens and the system does not find it, when I try searching for it.
Then again, if I mount and run the set up again, it keeps asking me if I want to change anything. So it HAS been installed, but for whatever reason it is invisible. What can I do to fix this?
Thanks
first of all,
to admin:your website rocks, pleaze keep it up!!!
next the question:
when you use winrar to extract multiple archieves
and a message pops because the files are the same should i overwrite all of em,not ovewrite or rename all so they wont be replaced?
also when mounting with deamon tools lite, you can only mount those files with the blue icon that are identified from it right?

This sucks, no one in the hole internet can make a proper explanation of how to eficiently install japanese games. You take time uploading all the games and stuff but you cant take 5 more seconds to make a good explanation of how to be able to play it

Other cookbooks can be used with this cookbook but they are not explicitly required. The default settings in this cookbook do not require their use. The other cookbooks (on community.opsocde.com) are:
Create a base role that will represent the base configuration for any system that includes managing aspects of the chef-client. Add recipes to the run list of the role, customize the attributes, and apply the role to nodes. For example, the following role (Ruby DSL) will set the init style to init, delete the validation certificate (as the client would already be authenticated) and set up the chef-client as a service using the init style.
The chef-client::config recipe is only required with init style init (default setting for the attribute on debian/redhat family platforms, because the init script doesn't include the pid_file option which is set in the config.
The default Chef Server will be :4000 which is the Chef::Config[:chef_server_url] default value. To use the config recipe with the Opscode Platform, for example, add the following to the override_attributes
The chef-client recipe will create the chef-client service configured with runit. The runit run script will be located in /etc/sv/chef-client/run. The output log will be in the runit service directory, /etc/sv/chef-client/log/main/current.
The chef-client recipe will create the chef-client service configured with bluepill. The bluepill "pill" will be located in /etc/bluepill/chef-client.pill. The output log will be to client.log file in the node["chef_client"]["log_dir"] location, /var/log/chef/client by default.
The chef-client recipe will create the chef-cilent service configured under daemontools. It uses the same sv run scripts as the runit recipe. The run script will be located in /etc/sv/chef-client/run. The output log will be in the daemontools service directory, /etc/sv/chef-client/log/main/current.

But for it to work properly you need software like winRar or 7Zip, particularly if you are downloading the games in parts. As all the information is all broken apart and needs to be glued back by using such software.
Once you get your extracted file it should show as a folder holding all the contents required to start the game, check for the .exe file open that and the game should start. If it is in Japanese you will either need to install the patch (by dropping a language replacing file or mounting a disk to rewrite the game content), or set English in the game setting.
Hope that helps!
not too sure about daemon tools but if you have an app called winesomething? sorry cant remember the name you should be able to run it but id look up a proper walkthrough as i cant tell you as ive never used a mac in my life ?
ok, i figured out how to do this, but now where do i put the patch info and additional in with the games so that they work? everything i have tried has failed. it doesnt help that my japanese is still lacking so i cant read all the kanji to figure it all out.
Hello, i have a question to picture 4 of the install explanation. you say i should disable the three marked options if i dont want to install spyware but these three options were not shown when i tried to install it (perhaps its a newer version). does that mean that they are already disabled oder do i have no other choice than to install them?
