I'd like to be able to have the windows 7 start menu link to folders and not link to the stupid libraries. In Windows vista you could add the the Downloads folder into the start menu with messing with the registry:
There is no need to modify the interactive Python icon to open IDLE. If you install IDLE on Windows or Mac, a separate IDLE icon is installed in the Python 3.x folder with multiple icons. On Windows, the Python 3.x folder is on the start menu under P. On Mac, it is in Finder under, I believe, Apps.
When a ClickOnce application is installed for both online and offline use, an entry is added to the Start menu and the Add or Remove Programs list. @DSNET If you want to change the displayed extension name on Safari's Preferences window, changing CFBundleDisplayName (not CBBundleDisplayName) should work for Safari extensions too, but you need to reopen Safari to reflect it.
I've tried all your ways to change display name. But it always set to a certain value rather than a variable value declared in .xcconfig file when I reopen Xcode next time . Does anyone have a solution to this issue?
I'm trying to change the name for a separate copy of TextEdit and I cannot find either CBBundleDisplayName, CFBundleDisplayName, or CFBundleName in the Contents of the TextEdit copy.app. The only .plist file that I can find inside TextEdit copy.app/Contents which contains "TextEdit" is /Applications/TextEdit copy.app/Contents/Resources/TextEdit-Entitlements.plist which contains the key:
The application can not function normally without offline maps, which are not distributed within the application.
