All episodes of the first season are named after notable films of different eras. For the first half of the second season, all the episodes are named after notable songs. The second half of the second season features episodes named after novels. During the course of the series, 36 episodes of Finding Carter aired over two seasons.

Now that Max turned himself in to the police for killing Jared to protect Carter, what does that mean for him going forward? Would the potential new season focus on his legal battle to stay out of jail?

Season 2 of Finding Carter premiered 31 March, 2015; the mid-season finale aired 16 June, 2015, and the mid-season premiere aired 6 October, 2015. The season finale aired 15 December, 2015.

On 18 May, 2015, Finding Carter was renewed for an additional twelve episodes, bringing the second season to a total of twenty-four episodes.[22] The mid-season finale was 16 June, 2015; the second half of the season is set to premiere October 2015.[23]

We've got a long road ahead of us, Finding Carter fans. MTV announced last week that Finding Carter was renewed for Season 2 and my head was spinning trying to figure out how the series could possibly top its first season. I mean, this show is amazing and if you're not already emotionally invested in the wellbeing of Max and Taylor's relationship, you will be soon. But what will happen in Season 2, besides (hopefully) the continuation of Max and Taylor's perfect romance? Finding Carter 's Elizabeth, Cynthia Watros, opened up to Bustle about the possibility of learning her character's backstory next season.

According to Watros, the rest of this season's episodes are pretty jam-packed with drama. "I think the remainder of this season is really going to be about a lot going on," she says. "I don't know how much you're going to see of before and Elizabeth's backstory." That's something I'd started to wonder about early in this season, but that became especially intriguing when Bustle writer Nicole Pomarico presented the theory that Elizabeth's mother, Grandma Joan, might be involved in Carter's kidnapping.

So, can we expect to get that out of Season 2? The first season of Finding Carter has been less about the time during/before Carter's kidnapping (except for her flashbacks of Lori) and more about where the family's at right now. That's where all of the action is, so it makes perfect sense. But as fans keep speculating about David being involved in Carter's kidnapping, MTV's going to have to give us the answers at some point.

Toward the end of "Finding Carter" season 2, the fate of the show remains hanging since MTV has yet to announce a season 3 renewal. But according to series executive producer Emily Whitesell, they created an open ending despite the uncertainty of the show's future.

In the second season, Doctor Wilkes is another love interest for Peggy who was unconventional for that time period. Doctor Wilkes is a black man, and the show handled the racism of the time while sending a message to us in the present about racism. Racism has no place in determining who you choose to spend your time with nor what field you choose to pursue.

There's been talk of Marvel parachuting Hayley Atwell's Agent Carter into her own solo stories for some time. The studio first mused further One-Shots like the one on the Iron Man 3 Blu-ray. Then, last autumn, there were rumblings of a developing TV series. The latter is now officially a going concern, with US channel ABC ordering the Captain America spin-off straight to series with Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas named as showrunners. They've also renewed Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. for its second season.

The Agent Carter One-Shot has served as a pilot of sorts, with the full series picking up Peggy's adventures immediately afterwards. It's set in 1946, and sees Peggy dealing with the emotional fall-out of losing Steve Rogers to his icy 'grave', while also battling workplace sexism and finding herself marginalised as the guys return from WWII. She is stuck juggling admin for the Special Scientific Reserve while taking secret missions for Howard Stark (played in the films by Dominic Cooper, although his involvement here isn't yet confirmed).

THR's sources suggest that Agent Carter will be a 'short order' series, which means 13 episodes or fewer, compared to a full series' 22. The plan is for Atwell and co. to slot into the schedules when S.H.I.E.L.D. is on its between-season hiatus. She'll step into action following S.H.I.E.L.D.'s second season, with current intelligence suggesting the two shows will be linked in some way.

Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., meanwhile, may not yet have become the must-see blockbuster ABC had hoped for, but it has still been performing solidly. It shed viewers following its hugely successful pilot (the biggest network drama premiere since 2009), but it remains ABC's highest-rated first-year series, and was given a serious shot in the arm by the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. If it continues to improve in season two, we might well be on to something.

In addition to creating controversy, the new series, now renewed for a third season, has sparked a new interest in interest in the author and the world she created. Regardless of what you think of Anne With an E, these books are an exciting way to explore the world of Anne, and her creator, who liked to be called Maud (without an E).
