Simple note on how to use this discussion group for those of you who are not familiar

Derbyshire Climate Coalition has been running this Google Discussion group for more than a year. For those of you who are not familiar with the group here are some notes.
TO JOIN IN
All you have to do is reply to an email from the discussion group.
STAY ON TOPIC!
Please try not to put your clothes in the dishwasher.
TO START A NEW TOPIC (THREAD)
Start a new email by emailing derbyshirecli...@googlegroups.com OTHER WORDS DO NOT REPLY to an existing topic as that breaks the conversation thread.

CONTROLLING THE FLOW
We hope that the discussion group will very active. However the volume can bee too much. Remember that as a member you can have the following Email subscription options
- No email: web-only participation
- Abridged Email: one summary email of new activity per day
- Digest Email: up to 25 full new messages in a single email
- All Email: send each message as it arrives.
PLEASE BE SENSITIVE AND CONSIDERATE
This group is being administered by Derbyshire Climate Coalition. We reserve the right to vet emails. There have been two type of issues. One is using the group to advertise things not directly relevant. The second If you have an issue how this group is being run please first take it up with the owner, before spreading it to the group.
