Derbyshire EnvironmentStrategy
· John, Lisa and others to review the new DerbyshireCounty Council environment strategy when published (by 6 May) before it goes toScrutiny Committee (13 May) and Cabinet (15 July). Put out a press release ifnecessary.
Transport issues

- The Peaks and Dales Line Feasibility Study has been submitted to the Department for Transport by the Better Value Rail Team, which includes Department for Transport, Network Rail and the industry regulator, the Office of Rail and Road
NEB screenings
There will be screenings in Darley Dale ( 25 April), Buxton(27 May), Belper, (23 May), Chesterfield (13 June). Bakewell (June 26), Derby(June), Ilkeston, and Long Eaton, withsome challenges noted regarding MP attendance.
- Lisa: Send Ali the coalition welcome leaflet to include both Derby and Derbyshire logos and references, for use at NEB screenings and related events
- Ali: Take on admin rights for the Derby Climate Coalition Facebook page to co-host and promote NEB screening events, and review use for future events
- All NEB screening organizers: : Encourage attendees at NEB screenings to join the Derby and Derbyshire Climate Coalition using the leaflet and sign-up information
- Peter – send out mailchimp listing all the screenings
- Christine: Attempt to organize an NEB screening event in Ashbourne if health allows, and continue updating the village hall notice board with relevant information
Roadsafety
- Peter: Propose and organize a dedicated (possibly Zoom) meeting on road safety/deaths and serious injuries, inviting public health officials and those knowledgeable about relevant statistics
- All interested members: Submit public questions to relevant council and mayor's transport committee regarding road safety concerns and 20 mph/low traffic initiatives
- All interested members: Write letters to local newspapers referencing road safety statistics and campaigns, especially following local incidents

Energy andother events
- John Beardmore: Send details for the Stanley home energy efficiency event at Stanley Village Hall, 16 th May, 10am – 2pm, through the coalition mailing list
- All interested members: Consider attending the Stanley (16 May) and Bakewell (27 May) home energy/warm homes events and engage with Nottingham Energy Partnership or Marches Energy Agency for similar events in their areas
