[derby-makers] September Zoom Meeting

Today is the first Thursday of September so I plan to log in to the
zoom meeting at 7pm.
The next meeting at Grange Hall will be Wednesday 10th September.
There will also be ground clearance again tomorrow. I have not had an update from Kelsey so assume it will go ahead.
Gwen is looking to use the laser cutter tomorrow in prep for a sewing retreat as we plan to be at the hall. Time permitting, we can also continue with the shutter fitting too. The next steps are to drill holes through the casing back so that it can be screwed to the cabinet cross beams.
I had an email from Ruth last Friday to say that the funding for a regional shed officer has come to an end so she has left the post. This means that we do not have any local contact for Mens Sheds and this may influence our short term plans. We should be able to discuss the situation with Kelsey tomorrow as this may affect council plans too. I submitted the DACP funding application last week.

Progress on the outbuildings:
Canopy area now cleared.
Proposed area for shed cleared. It looks there there is some hard standing under a shallow covering of earth.
