Subject: Grange Hall Shrubbery Clearance - Menshed
Date: Fri, 8 Aug 2025 14:27:26 +0000
From: Kelsey Mumford <Kelsey....@derby.gov.uk>

Hi All,

I am contacting you today to enquire whether you’d be interested in assisting with the clearing of the grounds around the stable block at Grange Hall community centre, Littleover.  This is what we are looking to turn into a Menshed for our locality.

The team that attended the second clearance day on Friday 4th July 2025 did a fantastic job and two clearance days later, the difference is incredible. However, this still isn’t a small job and will still be manual labour. If you could spare some of your time to volunteer in helping, that would be greatly appreciated.

The friends of Littleover parks have kindly offered their time and equipment to help us to get the job done.

The clearance will take place this Friday 15th August 2025, 9:30am – 12:30pm.

If you haven’t got the capacity to get involved in the clearance but would like to drop in and have a look at what we are trying to achieve, then by all means pop in and have a look.

Kind Regards,

Kelsey

This has been postponed due to the heat expected on the day. It will be rescheduled for early September.

Kelsey has arranged for the rubbish to be collected in early September. If there is anything that we have immediate use for then we should separate those items out. There is a Grange Hall sign that we should keep for refurbishing. Kelsey did mention that we should not keep materials in case they are useful. i.e. if we don't have an immediate use we should dispose rather than keep for storage.
