I had a great day at Shedfest yesterday. UKMSA intends to rotate the show around the regions so I will write to them to suggest the Silk Mill makers museum as a venue. Lots of interesting things to update next time I'm there but unfortunately my wife has booked 23rd for a theatre night.
At this mornings Littleover History Society meeting I got talking to Les Allen who is interested in joining. He is a former LD councillor and Mayor of Derby and knows how to get council funding. He has also chaired many high budget charities and got funding of them. He would initially be interested in wood turning but may move onto other projects. I have provisionally invited him to come and meet us on 23rd.
I asked Jan about putting the metal shed under the plastic roofed space. She is concerned that there will still be space for the Littleover in Bloom gardening activities they do there. If we want a second shed it may have to go at the other end of the stables - which has a better and taller roof but the cobbled floor may not be as level as the concreted floor.
