It is meeting night again today. Laser cutter will be available. We also
have the shutter to look over and plan the fitting and so this may
interfere with cutter usage.

Brendan and I met up with Kelsey and Ruth yesterday. Ruth was interested
in canvassing out views on how we want to proceed and where we see it
all going. We have no objection to interacting with Mens Sheds and we
want to assist with repurposing the out buildings but as a group we
would want to remain as a group of individuals rather than becoming a
more formal entity. This is entirely expected and does not change plans
an possibilities at this point. Ruth is keen to promote Mens Sheds as a
group based at Grange Hall and there are several possible routes to
achieving this, with no formal plan at this stage.

Kelsey has some ideas for promotion of who we are and what we do and is
keen to assist. Kelsey and Ruth are keen to integrate several groups
that exist in the Derby area by organising joint events and promote
inter operation. It all sounds quite positive at this point.

See you later.

Grange Hall Community Center, Littleover from 7pm. Visitors welcome.

Hi Bernard. I have a small file that I will bring and will leave the larger file for another day.
It looks as if we will be busy with the shutter ( great that is ready to install) So I will leave
my new laptop at home and we can look at the Visicut on it at another meeting.
See you later
Gwen

Thats fine. We can discuss the issue you have with Brendan and Al, if he gets down.

Cheers
Bernard

I have put pilot holes into the shutter guides. The screws that Tony has
need 4.5mm clearance holes and 9.5mm for the head. The screw needs a 3mm
pilot hole into the wood upright on the cabinet. The guides are in the
green room on top of the cutter.

What screws do we need to hold the shutter box to the wood cross pieces?
