about technology, application development, and delivering solid code.
We're looking for people who love continually learning, and who are
comfortable mentoring others and being mentored so we can share each
others strengths in order to continually make disholine.com a better

Desired Skills & Experience:

Developers with 1+ years of real world ruby/RoR development
experience, and 5+ years total web/app experience. We'd love a
candidate that lives and breathes ruby/RoR, and is passionate about
working with it.

OR

Developers WITHOUT ruby/RoR experience, but who have 5+ years
experience developing web applications. If you're looking for a new
challenge, bring your Java EE, .Net, or PHP skills to our team. We
will help you get up to speed by providing you with mentoring and a
plethora of ruby coding tasks to get you going.

Extra Credit:

Experience with caching, scaling sites, tuning sites (all layers),
database performance. Experience with ElasticSearch (or other search
engines), Cassandra (or other NOSQL data stores), mysql.

Work Environment:

The dishonline.com team is a small and passionate team located in a
satellite office in Superior, CO. We believe in and follow the Agile
process. Hiking/Biking trails are accessible from the office parking
lot, and private showers and lockers are available to all team
members. We are a mix of standing desk converts, old school sitters,
young guns, and original gangsters. We welcome all.
