ASAP WebSoft, LLC (http://www.asapwebsoft.com) is once again seeking
Rails developers. I'm looking to immediately (i.e., within two weeks
if possible) fill two or three independent contractor positions with a
new client. All positions will require on-site presence in Littleton
for about 2-3 months, but if you're good, there's high potential for
very long-term work, most of which can probably be off-site.
For these positions, I need some combination of user interface design
skills, senior analytical and technical talent, and mid-level
development skills. That could mean one full-time designer who can
code Ruby under the direction of a full-time senior Rails engineer,
either of whom negotiates requirements details. Or it could mean a
full-time senior developer-designer who can do it all (including
requirements management) with assistance from a full-time mid-level
developer. Or it could mean a part-time pure designer who works with
a senior 3/4-to-full-time Rails developer/analyst and a mid-level 3/4-
to-full-time developer. All depends on what I find, but in all cases
I will be working (remotely at first, then on-site some starting in
mid-January) with the team to generate and review the application
architecture.
Core skills and experience: Ruby, Rails, OO, QA/Testing, HTTP, HTML,
XHTML and variants, XML, SSL, web services, REST, CSS, AJAX, JQuery,
Unix/Linux, open source, and RDBMS.
Useful skills and experience: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Java/Tomcat (for back-
end systems with which to integrate), JSON, any other portal-related
technologies, and Flex.
Respond privately to wo...@asapwebsoft.com if interested.
Thanks!
