Volunteers Needed

To any and all experienced Ruby on Rails programmers:

I'd like to invite you to check out DaVinci Coders, a project launched by the DaVinci Institute that I'm involved in. Our goal is to train new programmers in an 11-week full-immersion course that will take place at the Institute.

As part of this program, we are looking for industry experts like yourself to help mentor the students. Nothing too onerous, just 30 minutes or so a week to help keep the students on the right track. In return, you'll receive a Super Membership at DaVinci Institute (which will get you in FREE to almost all the events) and become part of the inner circle of things happening at the Institute.

On Wednesday, May 16th DaVinci Institute will be hosting an exclusive evening for those who are thinking about becoming mentors. This will be a small, intimate gathering with great networking and a short informational presentation.

If you have friends or colleagues that may be interested, we were hoping you might be able to send out a few emails to alert them of the event as well.

We will have food, wine, and beer for everyone who attends.

I think it's awesome what you're doing and Denver needs it!

I'm from Denver but currently in Chicago, enrolled in CodeAcademy.org. 

I won't be able to make the meeting, but I'd be happy to discuss how things are going here if you want.

I'm debating on relocating back to Denver/Boulder vs staying in Chicago after the Code Academy finishes because I'm wondering how possible it would be to get an entry level Rails job.
