Google Cloud Build error in running

I am running the following command in Google Cloud Build

- name: 'gcr.io/$PROJECT_ID/dependency-check:latest'

  args: ['-s .']

Getting the following errors

Status: Downloaded newer image for gcr.io/project-id/dependency-check:latest

gcr.io/project-id/dependency-check:latest

Invalid 'scan' argument: ' .' - path does not exist

usage: Dependency-Check Core [--advancedHelp] [--enableExperimental]

Overall, the error is to store the information in output 

[ERROR] Error generating the report for 

ERROR

ERROR: build step 0 "gcr.io/neon-bank-305214/dependency-check:latest" failed: step exited with non-zero status: 244
