Dear Fellows,

During the course of your fellowship year - whether it was last year or ten years ago - we worked with you to retell the story of the world in ways that bend toward justice. You received extraordinary support and resources, which we call “the 5 Cs”:  cohort, coach, curriculum, convenings, community. You are now part of our broader fellows community, and we want to let you know about a few upcoming opportunities in the next weeks, to reconnect and reignite:

Strategies for Dealing with Opposition, Critics & Trolls (MARCH 15, 7pm ET): Join us and Dr. Michelle Ferrier, a leading expert in the field, for expert advice and strategies to push back, protect yourself and come out strong. Register here.

Starting New Platforms to Tell New Stories (APRIL 5, 7pm ET) Three founders - Emily Ramshaw of The 19th*, Stephanie Drenka of Visible, and OpEd Project founder Katie Orenstein - come together to discuss what our women-led media ventures are doing to elevate your voices. Register here.

Core Workshop - “Write To Change The World” (multiple dates):  You first experienced the DNA of this discovery-based workshop that addresses expertise, authority, and changing minds, in your fellowship year. Join us to re-boot the conversation and generate results. We have 2-day intensives on March 11-12 and March 24-25, and a 2-week cohort starting March 16. Register here.  Or join us in leadership as an Alum Ambassador here

Advanced Workshop - “Connection, Accelerate Your Ideas” (March 30-31 (10am-1:30pm ET, both days)  This workshop builds off of the fellowship curriculum you experienced, and explores the super power of cross-pollination. You will emerge with concrete results (op-eds and more) and a cohort of support. We’ll culminate in a virtual experiment in collaborative thinking (maybe you remember?  Register here

“Ask A Journalist” office hours (THURSDAYS, 5pm ET): Need extra support or a second opinion on a draft?  Want to hear from peers and journalists alike, Rollup your sleeves with us every Thursday at 5pm ET to share drafts, ask questions, and chat with a journalist who’s rooting for you. Open to all. Register here

Warmly,
Ashley
