Dear Public Voices Fellows,
I'm so excited to reach out to you. At some point in the last eight years, you became a Public Voices Fellows, and joined The OpEd Project's highest impact initiative to change who writes history. Whether you came on board in our first year (2012) or our most recent (chaotic 2020) - you are part of a movement of 2,000 diverse thought leaders who have collectively had a profound impact on history -- and who have led us to this moment, and me being here with you all.
I joined The OpEd Project last year, as the Director of Public Voices Fellowships nationwide. I have worked in leadership and social entrepreneurship at institutions like the University of Michigan and Columbia University, and I am thrilled and honored to lead this work. I've met and worked with many of you this past year, and I hope to meet many more of you in the months to come. If I can ever be a resource for any of you, please reach out to me at any time.
A request for you: I am hiring a right-hand person to partner with me as we guide the Public Voices Fellowship initiative into its next iteration -- details beneath my signature. This is a plum position for a person who cares about thought leadership and action, and the inclusion of the full range of human voice and intelligence - and wants to work with ME and my wonderful team to build the future.
Maybe someone you know? Maybe you?
I hope to hear from you!
Warmly,
Ashley
P.S. The OpEd Project is also hiring a Finance and Operations Manager -- please share widely within your incredible networks of changemakers!
