Iwonder whats causing it (which dep)? Note that it's dynamically loaded code. These classes are nowhere to be seen in "obfuscation mapping.txt", I didn't catch classes either in heap dump. Also I've tried to submit app without obfuscation into internal builds, but these classes are still scrambled / obfuscated in pre-launch report.
I am having EXACTLY the same issue with completely identical messages, but they seem to appear randomly. I successfully sumbitted the latest version of my app yesterday and it was published to the Store. When I look at that release in the Dashboard this morning, the two errors have been added. The same happened for a previous release. What is going on?
Hello,
i enabled encryption following the manual on a linux-PC with 2.4.9 Joplin. It just worked fine. Joplin syncs via nextcloud. After that i synced an android mobile (Joplin 2.6.8). I was asked the password an entered it.
Now it says:
Error: Could not encrypt item XXX Master key is not loaded: YYY.
On top the app asks me to define the password, but there everything seems to be ok: The one and only key is "loaded", the only thing i can do is to deactivate encryption.
The same on the iOS device: "Press to set the decryption password."
Both apps say encryption is activated and state decrypted objects: 577/577.
It seems to be the same case as Master key is not loaded (Android)
Everything accessible is readable on every device, but new items just don't sync anymore.
Did I do anything wrong?
Thanks for your help!
Thanx a lot Laurent for your reply! As you recommended, I installed the nev versions. Now it's Version 2.6.10 (Linux-PC) and a completely new installed Android App 2.6.9 by using the apk provided on this website. I deactivated encryption and activated it again.
Unfortunately the problem persists. Synchronisation test is fine. Linux does synchronise and encrypts. The Android device still states: "Error: Could not encrypt item XXX: Mater key is not loaded: YYY.
But in the Encryption Configs the Status seems fine:
Imagepipe_04981024 36.9 KB
Now it says on the desktop app, the key is enabled and active, but it's not valid? How can i change that? Enter the password doesn't make any difference.

There is some overlap in the filecache between both types of encryption (e.g. here and here) so in theory it is still possible to have unexpected behavior or odd interactions where both have been enabled at one point or another.
I got the same problem today after I updated to version 28.0.3, but when I run the commands mentioned above, it even says that encryption is enabled, and it is using the defaultModule: OC_DEFAULT_MODULE. Yet, the UI switch shows server-side encryption as disabled.
Please can you give me an advice? I have a problem with netlist encryption. In our server we used MMSIM 12.10.347 version, where I encrypt file by spectre_encrypt command. However when our customer try to simulate encrypted file using by MMSIM 11.10.214 version, they get following output report:
I also introduce you here the example of source netlist code and encrypted netlist generated in our machine. It is simple PI resistive cell. They got the same already mentioned ERROR output also for this simple passive circuit. The content of original source netlist:
Nextcloud server-side encryption encrypts files stored on the Nextcloud server, and files on remote storage that is connected to your Nextcloud server.Encryption and decryption are performed on the Nextcloud server. All files sentto remote storage will be encrypted by the Nextcloud server, and upon retrieval, decrypted before serving them to you and anyone you have shared them with.
When files on external storage are encrypted in Nextcloud, you cannot share themdirectly from the external storage services, but only through Nextcloud sharingbecause the key to decrypt the data never leaves the Nextcloud server.
When encryption is enabled, all files are encrypted and decrypted by theNextcloud application, and stored encrypted on your remote storage. This protects your data on externally hosted storage. The Nextcloudadmin and the storage admin will see only encrypted files when browsing backendstorage.
Note also that SSL terminates at or before Apache on the Nextcloud server, andall files will exist in an unencrypted state between the SSL connectiontermination and the Nextcloud code that encrypts and decrypts files. This isalso potentially exploitable by anyone with administrator access to yourserver. Read How Nextcloud uses encryption to protect your data for more information.
Plan very carefully before enabling encryption because it is not reversible viathe Nextcloud Web interface. If you lose your encryption keys your files are notrecoverable. Always have backups of your encryption keys stored in a safelocation, and consider enabling all recovery options.
Nextcloud encryption consists of two parts. The base encryption system isenabled and disabled on your Admin page. First you must enable this, and thenselect an encryption module to load. Currently the only available encryptionmodule is the Nextcloud Default Encryption Module.
Return to your Admin page to see the Nextcloud Default EncryptionModule added to the module selector, and automatically selected. Now you mustlog out and then log back in to initialize your encryption keys.
If you have shell access you may use the occ command to perform encryptionoperations, and you have additional options such as decryption and creating asingle master encryption key. See Encryption for detailedinstructions on using occ.
Encrypt all data files for all users. For performance reasons, when you enableencryption on a Nextcloud server only new and changed files are encrypted. Thiscommand gives you the option to encrypt all files.
Move keys to a different folder, either locally or on a different server. The folder must already exist, be owned by root and your HTTP group, and berestricted to root and your HTTP group. Further the folder needs to be locatedsomewhere in your Nextcloud data folder, either physically, or as a mount. This example is for Ubuntu Linux. Note that the new folder is relative to your occ directory:
Create a new master key. Use this when you have a single-sign oninfrastructure. Use this only on fresh installations with no existing data, oron systems where encryption has not already been enabled. It is not possible todisable it:
It will put your server into maintenance mode and back.It also takes care of disabling encryption when all files have been decrypted. If the command is aborted some files have been decrypted and others are still encrypted. In this case the command will keep the encryption turned onand Nextcloud can handle this situation fine. You can proceed decrypting the remaining files by calling the command againonce the problems that caused the abortion have been resolved.
It seams that this service cannot be started because service itself or some of it's dependencies is using Log4net.dll and that DLL cannot be found or loaded. However, log4.net.dll is located in same folder where application resides.
This is strange. In previous 2 days, I tried everything to start this service in order to solve BAD device status. I have restarted several times PC and nothing helped. Suddenly Health status has changed to Good and all services are running however there is no more Sophos Device Encryption (Automatic Delayed Start) service.
You could run a file compare against the AutoUpdate cache to check, the files should be the same, if not you could copy the one from the cache:
fc "C:\Program Files (x86)\Sophos\Sophos Data Protection\log4net.dll" "c:\ProgramData\Sophos\AutoUpdate\Cache\decoded\enc\ProgramFilesFolder\Sophos\Sophos Data Protection\log4net.dll"
As for how the service went missing is a little odd. It is possible you can remove the component from the Manage Endpoint Software button on this page:
-computers
This will cause Sophos AutoUpdate to remove the component. But it sounds like just the service was remove as you'd probably remember this. Maybe the remove/add from this workflow would repair the component though?
Probably need to check any logs of the component to see if the installer was run and what happened. These would be under \windows\temp\ if AutoUpdate ran the data protection installer at somepoint.
There was unplanned shutdown of system after Sophos migration (We have used Migration tool to migrate Sophos from SEC to Sophos Central). I'm not sure was status was GOOD after installation or there was BAD status since beginning.
Unfortunately, I don't have same folder structure you have asked me to check. There is no folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Sophos\Sophos Data Protection nor c:\ProgramData\Sophos\AutoUpdate\Cache\decoded\enc
In meantime, my colleague have applied licence keys (we were using trial) but he has applied only licence for Endpoint Protection and Server Protection products without Encryption. Encryption licence will arrive soon.
Snowflake supports both internal (Snowflake-provided) and external (customer-provided) stages for data files. Snowflake provides internal stages where you can upload and group your data files before loading the data into tables (image B).
Customer-provided stages are containers or directories in a supported cloud storage service (e.g. Amazon S3) that you control and manage(image A). Customer-provided stages are an attractive option for customers that already have data stored in a cloud storage service thatthey want to copy into Snowflake.
If the stage is an external stage (Image A), the user may optionally encrypt the data files using client-side encryption (seeClient-Side Encryption for more information). We recommend client-side encryption for data files in external stages; but if the datais not encrypted, Snowflake immediately encrypts the data when it is loaded into a table.
At no time does the cloud storage service or any other third party (such as an ISP) see the data in the clear. Customers may uploadclient-side encrypted data using any client or tool that supports client-side encryption.
