KarnatakaPGCET 2024: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released the Karnataka PGCET hall ticket download link on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. Candidates can download the hall ticket of Karnataka PGCET 2024 using the login credentials generated at the time of registration. KEA will conduct the Karnataka PGCET 2024 on August 4 for MBA and MCA courses. PGCET exam dates for ME and MTech courses are yet to be notified. Karnataka PGCET 2024 exam was postponed due to clash with the university exams.

Commencing 2024 session, KEA will conduct Karnataka PGCET in an online mode. The official examination website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/pgcet24, hosts the critical details regarding the PGCET 2024, including the registration link information bulletin, revised syllabus, etc. KEA will conduct the Karnataka PGCET 2024 exam for PG professional courses, including MBA, MCA, and MTech. Candidates with a bachelor's degree can apply for Karnataka PGCET 2024 online.


Karnataka PGCET counselling is conducted every year for admission to MBA, MCA, M.Tech and MArch courses. Candidates who pass the Karnataka PGCET exam are eligible to participate in the documenty verification process. Those who get their documents verified are eligible for the centralised counselling for admissions based on Karnataka PGCET ranks.


There is no qualifying marks in PGCET. However, note that, candidates must get at least 50% marks in qualifying exam (45% marks in QE in case of SC/ST and Category I of Karnataka candidates) to be eligible for admission. Candidates must refer to the eligibility criteria mentioned in the admission brochure issued by desired college for MBA admissions. The Karnatka PGCET exam score is valid for one exam session only. That is the scores of 2023 session will be valid for admission in 2023-24 session only. In the counselling round, the allotment of seats is done based on merit and priority options. Karnataka PGCET or Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test is administered annually by Karnataka Examination Authority. Karnataka PGCET acts as the gateway exam for admission into PG courses, including MBA, MCA, M.E., M.Tech. and M.Arch in the state of Karnataka. Candidates taking the PGCET exam have to answer as many as 100 MCQs within 150 minutes. The Karnataka PGCET exam for MBA will have as many as 100 MCQs from four different sections including Proficiency in English Language, General Knowledge, Test of Reasoning and General Intelligence, and Quantitative Analysis.


KEA releases the Karnataka PGCET answer key soon after the exam is conducted. Candidates can find the correct answers for all the questions in the question paper in the Karnataka PGCET answer key. Alternatively, KEA also releases the Karnataka PGCET answer key in a PDF format. Candidates can file objections if they find errors in the answer key. The Karnataka PGCET 2022 exam followed the pattern earlier announced by the exam authorities; hence, there was no surprise element in the paper. As per the teaching faculty of different coaching centres, Karnataka PGCET 2023 exam for MBA was easiest if compared to the question papers from past few exam sessions. The overall difficulty level of the test was easy to moderate. The test of Reasoning and General Intelligence was the easiest, whereas General Knowledge was the toughest among the four sections. Quantitative Analysis and Proficiency in English Language sections were of moderate difficulty level.


Karnataka Examinations Authority releases the Karnataka PGCET 2024 result online. Candidates will be able to view the scorecards by entering their registration number at the official login portal available at kea.kar.nic.in. Karnataka PGCET 2024 scorecard will host the qualifying status along with other relevant information. Candidates passing the Karnataka PGCET exam will be marked eligible to participate in the counselling process.


KEA allocates merit position or rank to each candidate based on their score in the PGCET exam. Candidates with a higher score will get a better rank in the inter-se merit list.
