2. AMP tries to reach students in the remotest areas across the country through Skill Development Lectures (SDL). It is one of AMP's main Flagship Projects which has been the most impactful as well. The idea is to try and do wholesome guidance of students/ prospects towards Career Planning and Self-Development.
In the month of September ’17, we covered 72 schools all across India and 4600 students benefited due to these lectures.

3. SDL Star of the Month for September 2017 was declared in favour of Dr. Kaifee Zahiruddin.
Dr. Kaifee is a general physician by profession. She belongs to Mumbra Chapter in Mumbai and has been connected with AMP as a volunteer for SDL for 5 years. She is very proactive in her deliverables, which has helped her to conduct 200+ SDL’s till date.

4. AMP, in its Board Meeting held on 5th September, 2017, on the eve of ‘Teachers Day’, decided to undertake an unprecedented initiative to appreciate the services of teachers across the country. 80 such exceptional individuals at the National level were nominated and selected for the ‘AMP NATIONAL AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION’ in recognition of their outstanding services in the field of Education and invaluable Contribution to the Society at large.

5. AMP Kuwait Chapter conducted a Skill Development Programme on Productivity Improvement for Professionals (PIP) using Microsoft Outlook on Friday, 8th Sep 2017.
The session was delivered by Mr. Ausaf Usmani, having 26+ years’ experience and currently associated with Hydrotek Engineering, Honeywell and Bader-Al Mulla in top management roles.

6. AMP President, Mr. Aamir Edresy along with few Core members visited various educational institutes in Akkalkuwa and Malegaon on 15th and 16th Sept 2017.
Mr. Edresy was invited at Jamia Isha'atul Uloom Engineering College, Akkalkuwa as a Chief Guest for their Engineer's Day event.

7. AMP General Secretary, Mr. Syed Najeeb, earlier this month of September, 2017, visited Baramati, a town in Maharashtra and met up with the local AMP team and Community members to consolidate rapport with them as well as give an elaborate presentation about AMP and its activities to enlighten the newer members.

8. AMP held a function in Mumbai for giving away ‘AMP National Award for Excellence in Education’ on Tuesday, September 19th, 2017.
There were 21 recipients of these Awards from Mumbai and Suburban region who were felicitated at Maharashtra College, Mumbai Central.

9. AMP on Saturday 30th September 2017 distributed Higher Education Scholarships to 31 deserving and needy students from Mumbai and the adjoining Suburbs. Altogether 22 students of Engineering, 5 Students of Medicine, 2 Students of I.T and 2 Students of Architecture were given away Scholarships ranging from Rs. 10,000/- upto Rs. 50,000/- depending on their merit and economic background.
The Scholarships for the rest of the Country would also be simultaneously distributed to the selected students based on merit and their financial background after due verification by AMP City Co-ordinators.

10. AMP held its Senior Professionals’ Meeting on 30th Sept.’17 to continue with the mission of developing a roadmap for the Economic Development of the Community. Twenty Sr. Professionals from different walks of life attended the meeting and brainstormed on various initiatives needed for the Economic Upliftment of the Community.

11. AMP Monthly Chapter Meetings were conducted in 4 cities in the Country in August, 2017. The cities were Surat, Bijapur, Mira Road in Mumbai, and Lucknow. The main intention of these Chapter Meetings was to bring the Members and Volunteers together and work out a plan of action for the next month and the quarter.
12. AMP Career Chart was distributed to 35 schools across the country.

Tentative Plans for the month of October, 2017:
The following
activities are being planned:
1. Insha Allah this month we will be disbursing the AMP Assistance Funds for the remaining beneficiaries of AMP Higher Education Scholarship Fund, AMP Orphan Education Assistance Fund and AMP Self Employment Assistance Fund.
2. AMP Job Drives are planned this month in the cities of Aurangabad, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Raichur, Barwani and Bareilly.
3. AMP Central Team including President Mr. Aamir Edresy, would be undertaking various Chapter Visits to cities like Aurangabad, Delhi, Aligarh, Varanasi to conduct various AMP activities and plan for future ones.
4. AMP will be planning and announcing the National SDL Campaign for ‘Education Day’ on occasion of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad’s birthday on November 11, 2017.
