There are 3.2 Crore Muslims below poverty line (BPL) and most of these are living in the 100 most backward Districts of India (As per latest data released by Niti Aayog, GOI).

Out of the top 20 Backward Districts, 11 Districts are Muslim Dominated and 4 of them are in U.P. Hence AMP has decided to start a District Development Programme (DDP) as part of its Economic Development Plan for the Community. For this, AMP will adopt Siddarth Nagar, a very backward District of UP where in 500 poorest families will be supported with AMP’s ‘Start Small Business Programme’.
