Nomination of Mentor for “Learning Science via Standards” Two-Day Training Programme – 07 & 08 October 2025, Ahmedabad

Dear Principal,

Greetings from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Ahmedabad Branch Office.

As you are aware, BIS has initiated the formation of Standards Clubs in schools to familiarize students with the concepts of Quality, Standards and Standardization, and to inspire them to become responsible and informed citizens.

An important initiative under this programme is “Learning Science via Standards”, which aims to enhance the understanding of scientific concepts among students through Indian Standards. For this purpose, BIS has developed and published 52 lesson plans based on day-to-day products, which are available on the BIS website for use by Standards Clubs:

To equip Science Teachers (Mentors) with the necessary knowledge and practical insights to effectively implement this initiative, BIS is organizing a Two-Day Training Programme as per the details below:

📍 Venue: Bureau of Indian Standards, Ahmedabad Branch Office

3rd Floor, Navjeevan Amrut Jayanti Bhawan, Behind Gujarat Vidyapith, Off Ashram Road, Usmanpura, Ahmedabad

📅 Dates: 07 – 08 October 2025
