The Herb Society of America, Rocky Mountain Unit presents
Garden Folklore or Fact? by Betty Cahill
March 16, 2019, Saturday, 9:45 AM to 12 Noon
From using coffee grounds, Epsom salts to eggshells in the garden, what does the science say about these and many more garden additives and handed-down advice? Betty will bust the top garden myths and suggest researched garden practices that work!
Betty writes the popular garden "Punch List" column for the Denver Post Grow section which covers what to be doing in your landscape and vegetable garden weekly from late March through the summer. Also look for her column monthly or bi-monthly during the fall and winter in the Saturday Life and Culture section. She has been teaching gardening classes at Denver Botanic Gardens, garden clubs, libraries, businesses and garden centers along the Front Range for several years. Betty is an active volunteer for the Colorado Master Gardener program. For more gardening information follow her on her blog - https://gardenpunchlist.blogspot.com/
Location: Kirk of Bonnie Brae, United Church of Christ 1201 S. Steele St., Denver, CO 80210
