Job Description:

Innovar Group has an immediate need for a DBA to support our clients
Application Support environment at Boulder,CO. This is a 6 months
contract position.

Must have 3-5 years of experience in a datacenter / production
environment. Experience with SQL 2008. 3-5+ years experience with SQL
2005 running on Windows servers Experience with MS Reporting Data
Warehouse experience with MS tools Must have strong experience with
database maintenance and file systems Experience with Oracle 10G
running on Unix or Solaris a plus

Job overview: * Plan and coordinate the administration of computerized
databases to ensure accurate, appropriate and effective use of data. *
Install and upgrade new releases of DBMS software; upgrade databases.
* Perform database-tuning activities to optimize performance. *
Perform daily activities, such as adding, modifying and deleting user
accounts and profiles; define, and implement procedures and processes
for backing-up databases on a regular basis; and troubleshoot and
resolve database-related problems. * Define and maintain databases,
views, tables, attributes and stored procedures. * Develop project
plans, maintain documentation records, and write reports as
appropriate.
