Denver Plone Users Group August 2008 Meeting

Another great meeting last night, hosted by CU Boulder.
(Thanks to all for the munchies and libations!)

Dan and Matt demonstrated a 'roll your own' information kiosk, with a
wall mounted touch screen powered by a MAC mini running Plone. Two
plone products make up the kiosk, Faculty Staff Directory, and
Oragami's Image viewer. It seems like the cost savings was around 80%
off the commercial solution.

We also got the skinny on how to install Weather Forecast in Plone 3
from Matt.

We're hoping that our CU Plone-ologists will present at the D.C.
conference- good luck with the lightning-talk application!

Denver Plone User's Group up and coming:
- Dan is looking to get a Plone Bootcamp in Colorado in
September.
Also, hoping to bring a Sprint to Boulder.
Please let the group know if you're interested in this
