Thanks for bringing wings. There will be, for sure, 2 of us, maybe 3.
See you tomorrow,
Chris

Thanks to everyone who came. It sounds like we have some really good
ideas for upcoming meetings: focus on building user's interest with a
set of lightning talks.
Anyway, I hope my rambling about using ArgoUML and ArchgenXML was
coherent enough to help out (sorry Rick wasn't able to stick around
for it). I figured out why the generated code had those strange
classes in it. It was actually just as Joe had suggested. If you
look a the attached screen capture you will see that there were a
couple of empty classes floating around (look in the left-hand tree of
classes). Had we deleted those it would have worked "flawlessly" (for
some definition of "flawless"). Also, if you notice the top-level of
the class tree you will see the "untitledModel". We could/should have
changed that to the name of the Plone package we were creating.
I did not get a chance to dig into defining the other properties that
allow you to specify the labels on widgets, vocabularies, default
values, and such. The are specified by using the "Tagged Values" tab
(in the lower right quadrant of the screen-shot). Here are a list of
URLs for digging into that information more:
Creating a Class and Workflow with ArgoUML and ArchGenXML:
http://plone.org/documentation/tutorial/anonymously-adding-custom-content-types-with-argouml-and-archgenxml/creating-a-class-and-workflow-with-argouml
Very short summary with a lot of the basics to help you get a good
understanding (including using a vocabulary for the values in a
selection).
Plone Conference 2006: Sophisticated UML and Archetypes:
http://www.archive.org/details/plone2006-archetypes
Probably a much better tutorial than I provided.
ArchGenXML 2 - Developers Manual:
http://plone.org/documentation/manual/archgenxml2
The comprehensive read to everything that works (I noticed a section
on how to incorporate 3rd party products).
I hope this helps.
