Game date (IMPORTANT, Folks!)

Hi guys!

So, first and foremost, Dan has been very busy with work. He's asked me to let you all know that he should be available to catch up starting tomorrow.

That said, we had been discussing moving game to the 27th in order to continue using Leslie's lovely hospitality. Unfortunately, since the 27th is the closest saturday night to Halloween, I know there are several folks (myself included) who will be instead attending Halloween parties. Sooo my question is this; do we want to go ahead and proceed with the 20th (being our normal third saturday) and try to find a different location JUST for October? I'm hoping to get a majority vote here, so I know whether or not I need to nail down a temporary location for October's game. 

PLEASE respond here on the list and let me know which date works better for you for the game. :) And also if you have an alternate game location idea in mind in case we go for the 20th.

LASTLY... Deanna needs a ride to and from game. I will consider you a rockstah if you volunteer, since I cannot this month due to personal scheduling stuff. Thanks!

Perhaps I'm just have a faulty memory, but I thought Dan was out of town on the 20th. Dan? And just as its that time of year the following two games would be Nov 17th and Dec 15th.

Unless his business trip changed dates (certainly possible) Dan said last month that he was going to be out of town the third weekend and would need to move the game to the second or fourth Saturday for this one game. I said that my place would only be available for the forth weekend as this coming weekend (the second weekend in October) is my hubby and my anniversary and we won't be home *to* host.

All right everyone! Sounds like there are many schedualing conflicts. Looking forward to the future, next months game will conflict with Thanksgiving, and the one after that will conflict with christmas...... Not looking good. So, here is my Idea, and lets hear some responses/fesabilities on it:

 

I sugest we move the game to the First weekend of the month for the next three months. This would put the next three games on Nov 3, December 1, and Jan 5, with the following game returning to out usual 3rd saturday of the week, puting the next game on Jan19th.

 

Suggestions, comments, questions? Lets hear 'em.

Dan I think you have bad calendar  In November the game would fall on the 17th. Thanksgiving is the 22nd. Likewise in December  game would be on the 15th, thus we will be a good 10 days away from Christmas. I say we leave game where it is for Nov and December.

Wahat i am saying is tat they are close. We can make the change only for october. In wich case the otober came would be at the begining of November, the november game would be on the 3rd week of november, and the December game would be on the 3rd week of december.

Or we can cancle the october game.
