Too Quiet

Hey all,

 

So, the email traffic is very light this month. Where is everybody? Lets get some scenes going, so we dont loose out momentum. I am available for scenes (best time is week days during work hours). Or you can get scenes with eachother, just be sure to CC me. Remember that some of your XP is dependant on your between game roleplay and actions.

 

Also, please remember all the WONDERUL GIFTS for recruitment. New people that stay for at least 3 games gill get you the XP's and the Karmas, and the love and adoration of myself. Also, anyone willing to spearhead a formal recruitment effort will have a staff position, and everything that goes with that.

I'm a new recruit, do I get WONDERFUL GIFTS? I think doing sufficient research into character creation that I stumbled across this group without even knowing it existed should qualify me for these stupendous prizes (which, in case you missed it, is really just a synonym for WONDERFUL GIFTS). :D

 

In other news, hello! I'm a new recruit, still working on the nitty-gritty of my character creation (some of which is pending further information *cough*peopleneedtoansweremails*cough*) but greatly excited about joining the game this month.

Rion - I am subtle, I didn't name names or anything. And I know a lot of stuff hinges on ST approval, but what was I supposed to do, miss out on a chance to razz you? Not on your life! :D

 

Leora - Hey sweets! And let's save the compliments until I actually start playing. I've only ever RPed once before and I've never LARPed; for all we know I could be godawful.

 

Rick - I actually have a second (Board/Card) Game Night I am going to after this one (last one went til 5am, so they "persuaded" me to come afterward since this is supposed to go til midnight-ish. Curse my weakness for strawberries and whipped cream! *shakes fist*). I'd be up for carpooling next month though. :)

 

Dan - No worries, I know there are weeks to go before the next game night, I'm just excited I might actually beat my curse!

Ah, yes, my curse. I'm apparently cursed to not be allowed to RP. I've been interested in RP since about early high school and have accordingly tried to join and/or been invited to join *many* games. I've successfully participated in ONE. Every other time I've tried either the game has fallen apart without ever happening, or my schedule has interfered consistently enough that I never manage to make it to a game. I know it's trying to work on this one too since so far I already have three things that conflict on the 21st, but I've *really* been jonsing to game lately and I'm determined to beat the curse this time.
