Try Digital Media Converter Pro. It has a profile already configured for your iPad. Simply add your file, click ‘Select Format’, choose devices, and select the Apple iPad device. Once your file is converted, Digital Media Converter Pro will even save it to your iTunes and make a playlist for you. Download it here: http://www.deskshare.com/audio-video-converter.aspx

I’m 16 being ancient and I’m stuck between getting an ipad or a droid 2 by motorola for Christmas. I’ve had the same simple phone (not a smart phone) for over a year now, but I want a laptop but I’d rather have an ipad. I was thinking like I can do mostly the same things on the droid that i can do with the ipad? Any suggestions? Thanks!

droid2.

droid 2 for sure

For a 16 year ancient, droid 2 would be more helpful.

Ipads are for niche markets…nice to have, but not as helpful for someone in your situation.

• Step 1: Launch and run Video to iPad Converter
• Step 2: Output Settings
Click "Open file" to add the AVI video files and then select "iPad H.264 Movie" as the output format from the "Profile" area, and the default setting will work great.
• Step 3: Start Conversion

The aiseesoft iPad video converter can not input the protected WMVs. If you have some protected WMV files and want to play them on your iPad device, this tutorial walk you through how to do this: http://drm-assistant.com/drmtips/converting-any-wmvs-to-ipad.html

To convert videos to iPad on Mac, I recommend Aunsoft Video Converter for Mac, it can convert different video formats to full HD mp4/mov for playback on iPad. If you want to convert DVD or Blu-ray to your iPad, Aunsoft iMedia Converter for Mac is a good choice.
