I would recommend you to use my open-source YouTube operational API. Indeed by requesting the JSON document =shorts&id=CHANNEL_ID. The entry item["shorts"] contains the data you are looking for. Note that the pagination works as the one of YouTube Data API v3.

For anyone still looking for a solution here is my approach using axios. Since a head request to the "/shorts/" url for a video that is NOT a short will still result in a status 200 response from axios I basically return the path value in request to see if its a redirect.

As people who sew, we are in a unique position to do as much as we can to adapt our shorts patterns and prevent this from happening. Today, I will cover some tips to help prevent your shorts from riding up.

When choosing fabrics to make your shorts out of, it really does depend on the pattern. However, fabric with a bit of stretch in it helps a lot in keeping your shorts in place. In general, a thicker fabric will stay in place a bit better as well. Denim with stretch is a pretty good choice for shorts.

Most of the time, the length does a lot to keep shorts in place. A longer bermuda length short (with the hem just above the knee) helps keep the shorts in place a lot easier than a short hem that ends right at where your thighs touch. Having a bit longer of a length means the shorts act a bit more like pants would.

YouTube creators can use our Shorts creation tools to remix audio and visual content from music videos across YouTube. You can remix music video content in a few different ways, including Green Screen, Cut, and audio remixing.

Some videos may be unavailable based on their privacy settings or on who has claimed copyright ownership. For example, this can include private videos and videos claimed by third-party copyright owners who haven't made the content available for Shorts. We also allow creators to limit remixing of their long-form videos or delete their original content at any time. Publishers and partners who use YouTube Studio Content Manager may also limit remixing of their Shorts as well.

Yes, you can remix content that was already remixed. You can choose to remix the audio, make your own Cut, Collab with others, or Green Screen with others. The source video and any subsequent remixes are on the Pivot pages and the Player metadata.

You get a notification when your video is remixed. One summary notification is sent per day; up to three times per week. So if your video is remixed by multiple creators in a single day, you get a maximum of one notification that day.

Your content, including Shorts and long-form videos, is made available for remix by default. Allowing remixing of your content can inspire creation across YouTube and potentially expand your reach to new audiences.

Video remixes you create are deleted after the original creator deletes their video or restricts its use. You are emailed when this happens. You may not be licensed to upload your Short to YouTube again with the original remixed video, but views accrued on your Short count toward your lifetime views.

YouTube is constantly testing new, experimental features. This feature is currently only available to a limited set of creators in the United States. The limited experiment is intended to ensure we are taking the proper steps to learn and build for any future iterations of the product.

Well, the shorts mystery I can solve, anyway. A typical flat pattern for ready to wear shorts widens the back thigh and drops the back crotch, and neither of those things help my particular figure. Instead, I prefer to start with a pants sloper or pants pattern that fits me and just modify the length.

So, the diagram below is from my Forsythe Trousers, which are also on my list to turn into shorts for myself. First you want to line your pants pattern up with a horizontal line at crotch point, with the grainline 90 degrees from that horizontal line. Then you just measure down from the horizontal crotch line to mark off where your shorts hem should be.

For short shorts (think Daisy Dukes), the inseam should be 1 1/2 to 2 inches below the crotch line, and the outseam should be at about 1 inch above the crotch line (blue line in picture below). If you typically have issues with shorts riding up in your inner thighs, you may want to keep this angle even at longer shorts lengths.

The Pomona shorts feature no side seam, which is why I was initially drawn to the pattern. The shorts have an elastic waist, high rise, and loose fit. They also include two patch pockets on the front and or back. The other really cool feature is how the waistband is constructed. Instead of having a separate pattern piece, the waistband is constructed by folding over the top edge, thus eliminating the extra bulk you would get with a waistband seam. Ultimately, you only have one pattern piece to cut out and a second piece if you want patch pockets. Cool. I am thrilled with the simplicity.

My current body measurements are a 36-inch waist and a 44-inch hip. If I consider my anterior tilting pelvis, my hip measures 46 inches. I was uncertain what size to pick because I was between the sizes. I decided it would be better to use the larger size since it is easier to adjust the pattern smaller. I used size 18.

If I were still uncertain about size 16 vs. 18, I could use this table to further guide my decision. The unstretched waistband of 35 inches is my first indication that size 16 is perhaps not the correct size for me. My final waistband needs to be bigger than 36 inches since I wear my waistband lower than my natural waistline. The stretched waist is 45 inches and getting awfully near my hip measurement. If I had any subtle changes in my body, the stretched waist would be hard to get over my 44-inch hips. This alone tells me that size 16 would likely not work for me, so I feel confident about my decision to use size 18.

Let us return to the original pattern and compare the wide legs versus the shorts. I want to assess if the legs are made any wider or narrower, the length of the inseam and side seam, and if there is any curvature or shaping along the hem. The shorts and the wide-leg versions share the exact same leg shape. I also noticed the hem of the shorts curves a bit, so I want to include that in my drafting. Finally, I just need to match the leg length of the shorts.

I have a passion for fashion, sewing, knitting, and fitting, which has led me on an endless journey of learning. Through this blog, I share my experiences, including my successes, failures, and the lessons I've learned along the way. While my earlier posts reflect my knowledge at that time, my understanding has since grown significantly. If I were to revisit those projects now, I would approach them differently, so please take some of my older ideas with a grain of salt.

The Free People website features 51 different "micro bottoms" products including pants, shorts, skirts, sets, swim bottoms, sleep and lounge, and jumpsuits and rompers. Sizes ranged from XS to XL with prices ranging from $30 to about $400.

"Micro shorts have been trending on Twitter [now X] for the past few months. It's a celebrity driven trend," Executive Director of the Avant-Guide Institute Daniel Levine wrote to Fox News. "Teenie-tiny shorts are a sure way for gym rats to attract attention to their glutes. I guess when the Bitcoin goes up so does the length of shorts."

Because of the vast numbers of YouTube daily users, Shorts are an effective way to generate more views for your channel. Not only that, but a Short made from a pre-existing video on YouTube will include a link to the original video. Viewers of the Short can then click on the link, giving you more views on your pre-existing video.

Shorts are a great way to give the public a taster of what your channel offers. They can show the best highlights or funniest parts of your videos. As a result, you can gain more followers when viewers see and enjoy these short videos.

YouTube will now take you to a Shorts creation page. From here, you can drag the sliders along your pre-existing video to choose which section to use for your Short. YouTube Shorts can be up to 60 seconds long. The red bar at the top of your screen will show you how much of those 60 seconds you have filled up.

You can add extra footage if your selected section is less than 60 seconds long. Do this by pressing the back arrow in the upper left corner of your screen. This will take you to the Shorts camera, where you can shoot more content.

Press the blue Upload Short button at the bottom of the page. This will post your Short. YouTube Shorts created in this way from pre-existing videos will include a link to the original video. Viewers can easily navigate to your original video with this link.

You can make the most of YouTube Shorts by following some best practices for repurposing your videos. Attention-grabbing clips invite new viewers to watch more of your content. Follow these tips to effectively repurpose your videos:

Choose the highlight of your video to turn into a Short. This could be the funniest moment, or the place where you give an important message. A key moment will help your Short stand out when viewers come across it.

Wore the cooling shorts underneath dresses & long skirts while in France for 12 days.. they were the absolute MVP of the trip. Walked 20K steps daily & my thighs felt smooth & silky. Washed them in the sink & air dried with zero issues. Recommend 100%!

The initial fit was perfect. None of the seams dug into my thighs or stomach. Very comfortable material. Now in the real world, I didn't notice any special cooling going on and if you need to walk quickly to catch a taxi or a bus, beware! They roll all the freaking way up. After one wash they also tend to dig into your skin as well. If I were to buy again I would probably buy one size up hoping they won't roll up or dig into me . Honestly, if they just didn't roll up I'd be ok with the non cooling effect. ?
