Hi David.

I am not interested in having a blacklist monitor.

What I *do* want to know is WHY does my IP 50.18.117.9 appear on one blacklist?

AND, does that have anything to do with why Google MX servers are refusing to accept mail from my server at that IP and spewing out useless error messages containing the following text (in part):

[50.18.117.9] The IP you're using to send mail is not authorized to send email directly to our servers.

Cheers
Dennis

I noticed you signed up for a free monitoring account, but hadn't created your free monitor yet. Your free monitor will alert you to any potential problems, like Blacklist issues.

You can easily create a Free Monitor for one IP Address right from your MxToolbox Dashboard.

How to Add a Monitor:
Log into your MxToolbox account
Step 1: Choose your monitor type: Blacklist
Step 2: Type your IP Address or Domain  into the lookup box
Step 3: Click + Add Monitor - Your free monitor is now created!

hi David, one other thing…

Just FYI. I received an unsolicited email from mxtoolbox and pressed the unsubscribe link which took me to a page where I had to press another button the response for which was a 404 HTTP error (page not found).

Also, as I mentioned in my previous email to you I discovered from Google Support that for some reason my IP number of my server was on one blacklist. When I went to the page, your page, following a link provided by Google Support I saw that my IP number was listed there. But what I didn't see was any explanation for why it was there or what caused this.

My next action is going to be simply to change mw server to a different IP number.

regards,
Dennis
