I changed the IP of my Linux server running Thinlinc Server.
My
Windows Thinlinc client still tries to connect to my server's old IP
I flushed my
Windows DNS cache.
No help - Thinlinc still tries to connect to the old IP (no longer valid)
Thinlinc client does not do a DNS lookup for my server host????
I could not find any registry entries for Thinlinc Client.
I UNINSTALLED Thinlinc client from Windows.
I resintalled Thinlinc client on Windows.
NO GOOD -- The "new" install somehow remembers the old invalid server IP for my server (
oceanpark.com - new IP is 54.176.136.29).
QUESTION 1 of 2:
Where does Thinlinc Windows client store config info, especially where does it cache the IP for my server?
QUESTION 2 of 2:
Why does reinstalling Thinlinc Client still use the old invalid IP?
Thanks
