Feedback I provided to Godaddy about this chat:

The GoDaddy guide, Kajal, was great. BUT, to facilitate domain transfers to GoDaddy, GoDaddy should (a) allow pre-configuring DNS records (e.g. setting up an A  record so that immediately upon transfer of the domain, DNS will point it to a live server), and (b) for crying out loud at least send an email to me ASAP once the transfer is complete.

On NS the domain was registered already for another two years or so.  After the transfer (I paid for one more year to GoDaddy as part of doing the transfer) will the expiration now be three yeas in the future?

Currently at NS there is a DNS A record pointing the domain to NS servers (we pay them for hosting).  After the transfer to GoDaddy completes, will that same A record be setup on GoDaddy so the Website does not go down?
