Hi Mark,
School is cancelled so the kids and I will sit it out in Gainseville one more day. We are going a little crazy with the four cats and dog and the inability to get the people in to clean our room. I am ready to go south and survey the damage but they are encouraging people to wait. We may end up sending the kids for a little vacation to your parents after all if it does take a while for electricity. Luckily we are heading toward the cooler portion of the year?  Don't work too hard. Love you Jules.

Hang in there honey.  That sounds like a huge bummer.  Are there any parks in the area that you guys could go and visit?  How is the weather?

The management at JSC is going to do an inspection on Monday in order to make a decision on the time to reopen the center.  I'll be sure to tell you what they decide as that will probably be a bit faster than the schools open.

I heard that police and national guard are not letting folks get into Seabrook.  I'm sure Maggie can give you a much better feel for that though.  As of about half hour ago, Clear Lake still didn't have power.

Love ya,

Mark

Hello All

This is Tony for those of you that do not recognize the e-mail address. We went to San Antonio but are now in Corpus with my sister. I will be here until they say we can go back. Glad you are okay and hope to see you all soon.

Thanks and God Bless.

I'll check on you're house on 9/15/08.  I was able to sneak back into Seabrook on 9/13/08 and WOW. Is all I can say.  Do not try to come back until the offical word has been given.  They will NOT let you in until then.  Stay somewhere safe until then.  Power was restored in my sub-division earlier tonight but there is still a LOT of standing water.  Will keep you posted as more becomes availible.

Ed,

Jules is on the way back today with the kids.  I'm in Huntsville, AL working at the backup control center.  I think I'll be here a while.  Both our immediate neighbors are already back in El Lago.  Word is that the shed survived!
