Den Meeting, Sep 22nd, Cancelled

The den meeting on September 22nd is canceled, but in spite of
Hurrican Ike, our field trip to the Houston Gem, Jewelry, Mineral, &
Fossil Show on Sunday, September 28th is happening.

We have confirmed reservations for the Webelos Geology class on Sunday, September 28th from 11 AM to 1 or 2 PM.  We'll plan on meeting at the Vande Heis' house at 9:30 AM with the intent of leaving by 9:40.    It is not too late to let me know that you'll join us.

Another note concerning the Field trip this weekend, the Webelos
attending should wear their uniforms, bring bags to collect samples
in, and have paper and pen.

Tony,

The only conflict that I see on October 25th is the District's Pushmobile races.  It is something that we've always skipped in the past, but possible a fun event if folks are interested.  Some other days with no conflicts, at least with Cub Scout events, are:

October 26th, Sunday
November 2nd, Sunday

Either way is fine with me.  Pick a date, the 25th or one of the other two above, and we'll run with it.
