I would like to see more flexibility with creating text objects in DS, with
the availability of leading and tracking for example. To get around not
being able to change the leading when I type in text, I am creating each
line of text separately and spacing the lines to create the appearance of
leading. Of course this workaround is only practical with small amounts of
text.

Since text is such an important part of a demo, I would hope this could be
implemented in a future release. (or is there already a way to change
leading in version 6.7 and I just don't know it?)

Thanks.

Paula Schaefer,

In order to control the leading and tracking of text being used in a demo,
you can use an .rft file instead of typing the text directly into the Text
Object. To do this, create an .rft file outside of DemoShield. Import the
.rtf file into the Text tab of the Resource Manager. Create a Text Object
in the scene where you would like the text to appear. Open the Properties
for the Text Object and go to the Object Styles tab. Select RTF Defined
Text from the Style drop down menu. Select the .rtf file you imported.
Click OK.

You text should appear how you edited in the .rtf file.

I hope this helps.
