Great product from what I've seen so far!
1. I want to be able to Drag a banding box around a group of objects in a
scene that allow me to edit shared
properties between the objects at one time. In addition, I'd like to be able
to maybe press the F5 key to Group these objects as a single group of
objects. This way when I click on the group to move them, I dont have to
drag a window around them to move them as a group. Shift F5 would ungroup
them. OR which ever control you prefer!
2. Give us a draw capability to generate a spline. Click a bunch of points
on the scene then press button 2 on the mouse. This will create a line
through the points and get rid of the points. Allow us to edit those points
to move them to a different position or to change the shape of the spline if
necessary.
REALLY NEEDED BAD!
3. Allow us to take an object and Pick a reference point on that object and
attach it to the splined line which was created in request # 2. Then allow
us to tell DemoShield some how to move the object from the one end of the
splined line to the other end of the splined line. While moving from one
end to the other, allow us the flexibility to tell DemoShield how long it
should take to move the object through the splines path.
Why do I need this capability? Without using an animation, I need to show
movement (s) of an object through a scene. For example, If you wanted to
show how a end user would use his mouse in windows to teach the end user how
to drag and drop an object, you can't do this unless you create an animation
or you create an avi. Most of the time, AVI's dont work for what Im trying
to achieve.
For example again, I need to draw a mouse using your polygon features. Then
I need to show that mouse dragging and dropping another object on that scene
using a connected line path or a spline path. Then drop the object at that
position on the scene, to show the drag and drop method in windows.
Request # 3 would allow me to keep my file size down and allow me to take
any polygon drawn in your software and move it following a path.
This is it for now, Thanks for you time.
Glenn
Probably the EASIER thing to do would be,
If you drew a Square Polygon, and allowed us to use one of its handles for
an attach point. Or the center of the polygon as an attach point. allow us
to attach an action to one of those points.
The action Im referring to is MOVE MOUSE.
Just as you use MOVE MOUSE action. You can MOVE POLYGON. Allow us to Set
the Time for the Polygon to get to its destination and allow us to Click on
the Screen to set the Destination Point! Capture the Destination Position.
That way we can set multiple Polygon moves and use the EVENT Tool to Fire
and get the Timing down.
Thanks Glenn
