421 Error: too many messages in one session

I got a client to whom we send alot of email. Often, there are hundreds of
messages in queue for his domain. Our smtp sends about 10 email and then get
kicked out (error in log is "421 Error: too many messages in one session",
and after 3 hours our users get a warning saying connection with
mail.xxx.com is broken.

Is there a way to limit the number of message per session ? I currently am
at 4.3.6 (haven't had time to upgrade yet)...

Under Settings > LOCAL > Flow Control, check to make sure you have a
high enough limit on sending.
