Outlook13 with ActiveSync account to CGP 6.0.5

Used infrequently

Yesterday when I fired it up, I got a pop-up saying "Your account could
not be configured to synchronize new items as they arrive. Contact your
system administrator".

Cranked up httpu/airsync logging to "all info", but nothing jumps out at
me in the resultant CGP logs that would explaint this.

The logs might show that CGPro started to respond with Status 142 on
Sync requests. That's because MS changed the User-Agent name and CGPro
does not recognize Outlook 2013 as a special client and asks it to send
the Provision request, as any mobile device would do.

We'll address that in CGPro 6.0.6, for now the workaround is to add
WindowsOutlook15 to the list of non-provisioned devices:

/var/CommuniGate/Startup.sh:

AS_NO_PROVISION='("SAMSUNGGT*",WindowsOutlook15)'
SUPPLPARAMS="--otherParams --AirSyncNonProvisionable ${AS_NO_PROVISION}"

By process of elimination, I believe it's the patch associated with:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2810015

that caused the change. For now, we've backed out this patch and things
seem to be working. During our Thursday morning maintenance window I'll
try restarting CGP with the modified startup parameters, re-apply the
patch, and see if it fail/works.

So why is SAMSUNGGT* in the list?

I guess the earlty testing showed that those models failed to send the
Provision request in response to Status 142 returned by CGPro. We'll
re-check.

With which version of CGP was this startup parameter introduced? Is it
documented anywhere?

Sorry, but modified startup parameter didn't fix the problem.

With patch installed, Outlook 2013 still fails as described.
