ISDN problems with linux.

For a while now, I've been seeing.

May 10 22:27:01 mauve ipppd[9534]: demuxprotrej: Unrecognized Protocol-Reject for protocol 0xaa95

(And similar), several times a minute.

Throughput wasn't too bad, so I ignored it.
Recently, a dramatic increase, linked to P2P applications (edonkey),
had caused me to look again at this.
Some searching lead to the possibility that this might be a vj problem,
so I turned off vj compression (both at the ISP end through a web-form,
and locally). This hasn't made any difference.

My current /etc/ppp/ioptions file is:
ipcp-accept-local
ipcp-accept-remote
-vj
-vjccomp
-ac
-pc
noccp
-lzs

Versions...
ipppd version i2.2 patch level 11
Linux mauve 2.4.17 #6 Wed Jan 2 01:54:52 GMT 2002 i686 unknown
