SVGA monitor

Someone -- was it Tim? -- was asking about a SVGA monitor on a 1200 AGA.

I have here a new and unused Power scan-doubler (1200 external).

I bought it (around 60 quid inc pp) while switching my 4000/30 over to
Cyber-stuff. It didn't work properly -- it seemed to over-run everything,
so that all shades above about 60% saturation appeared as 100%. Very
bright, very flat, IYSWIM.
I moaned to Power, of course, and they sent another, which was just the
same. I moaned again, and they sent a third, from a new batch, also just
the same. At this point I didn't have the heart to ask for my money back,
and anyway my CyberVision finally arrived, so I stuck it in a drawer and
wrote it off to experience.
*Why* it didn't work I dunno. Perhaps there's something obscurely wrong
with my 4000.

Anyway, if you (whoever you are) want to try it, let me know. I'll send
it on appro, and if it works you can have it for -- what? -- 20 quid? And
if it doesn't work, your bin is as good as mine :-)
