Greets,

Im wondering if there are any "equivalent" tweaks for values such as RWIN,
or MTU for AmiTCP4.2, as exist on a Win machine, or are these even needed on
the Amiga?

I ask because I have a 2000 w/2.0 and AmiTCP 4.2 with a Hydra NIC card
(using an AUI tranceiver) to connect RJ45 to a switch with only one other
machine (WIN95 PC) in the LAN right now, and when I attempt to ftp a file
from the PC, the Amiga only gets 70K/s which is terrible for a 10BT Hydra
NIC.

FTP sending a file from the Amiga to the PC yields about 170K/s (Still very
slow but much higher than the get.. strange).

The PC is configured for a PPPoE DSL connection and is fully tweaked, so
its' "net" throughput is great. I wonder if the tweaks on the PC for the
PPPoE connection could be "fouling" up the LAN connectivity for the PC's NIC
card (there's only one NIC in the PC, which goes to the switch, and an
external DSL modem which also goes to a port in the switch).

FWIW, the PC is running Zone Alarm Pro and Sygate (for ICS of the DSL
connection).

Any advice much appreciated.
