I know I've asked this before, but i'll try again in case I missed something.
I have set up a Demon DFax number, and receive a steady trickle of faxes
delivered to me as tiff images by email. The only method I have to decode them
is SViewII by Andreas Kleinert. I don't use it for anything else, and it's too
clunky when decoding multipage faxes (more than one image in the same tiff
file).
Does anyone out there know of anything simpler, smaller, easier to use? Are
there any coders listening who fancy a little job? All I need is something like
MultiView, dedicated to reading tiff files, with a nice gadget on the front to
cycle through the available pages. Options to print & save as iff or other
datatype would be nice as well.
Any ideas or offers?
Regards,
Ian Deaville

Welcome to Ellivaed Country!
Bingo - hit the nail on the head there.
You can use Multiview, assuming you have an appropriate datatype installed.
You should be able to download a TIFF datatype from Aminet.

This is fine for single page faxes. However Multiview cannot show any pages
after 1 for multi-page faxes. Only SViewII (that I know of) has the ability to
change the tiff datatype setting to load & view subsequent pages.
