Thanks for the update Malcolm. A cure would be ideal, but in its absence
information on progress is very welcome. I hope that the fix currently
under test proves effective and look forward to an early, successful,
rollout.

Was this abuse conducted via mail2news? I ask because there seems to be
an additional lag on that route, compared to POST/IHAVE injection (I
think: I am seeing my articles posted via mail2news appearing long after
others with earlier timestamps, that have presumably *not* gone the
mail2news route).

Is there any chance of a statement on the relative lags of POST/IHAVE vs.
mail2news posting?

No, it was posted direct.

There is no difference in posting delay after the mailed article
has reached the news server. (articles posted by POST/IHAVE reach
the news server immediately)
