Old webmail page needs update. No link to new mail service, just says coming soon.

I can't remember where the new webmail is. So I just do a web search when I need it. High in the results is the following page:
https://web.mail.demon.net/

It's impossible to get from there to the new service. I mentioned this issue before somewhere (either here or on the Demon Forum). It would be really good if they provided a link to the new email service and deleted the phrase 'coming soon'.

The annoying thing about the new webmail is there no link to the Demon
site. It's like it's got it's own little bit of net divorced from the
rest of Demon.

But I agree the "new webmail coming soon" shows sloppiness when almost
everyone has already been migrated.

Is anyone here still getting mail off the punts?

They could just tack a "perhaps you want this link" onto the old mail
webpage since it is now virtually certain that most people will.

Isn't that what happens when you outsource everything?

I know this is familiar mouldy potatoes, but although the present mail
service works fine for me, the old inhouse mail service and Webmail
service worked just as well. Presumably outsourcing to inty is cheaper
all round. If not, Demon/Thus/Voda have cocked up.

Oh yes!

My HomeOffice email migrated to the Exchange system back in September 2012
(by which time I had notified as many correspondents and websites as I could
to use new Demon-indepenedent email addresses).

But I've independently taken out a Business Unlimited service (started in
February, with HomeOffice still running in parallel), and, although the
'welcome' literature made no mention of email or of how it would be set up
for the new hostname, I found that the MX records were pointing to the old
system.

Obviously, I don't intend to publish email addresses based on the new .dcu
domain, but I have resurrected fetchmail in order to monitor the punt
mailbox.

It is all very strange. If the intention is to migrate the new Business
Unlimited service over to Exchange, then that would be very confusing for a
genuinely new Demon customer.

OTOH, maybe Demon doesn't really expect new 'Business' customers to be so
short-sighted as to rely on their .dcu domainname for email purposes, rather
than use an non-Demon domain.

I think it even slightly precedes that and goes right back to the

Your recollection is different from mine. I thought one had to release
the little bird from its cage, when it would drive the dragon away.
Unless the game offered two alternative means of dealing with the
dragon?
