Isdn calls to Mobiles Echoing ???

Hi ,

I have just had Isdn installed (C&W) and whenever I call one of my
employees on their Mobiles (Cellnet) their phones echo extremely
badly,if I call them on my last analogue line all is ok.
I wonder if anyone has had this problem and can advise me as to the
cure ???????

This is probably because you have no dB loss with ISDN. The digital
phones ISDN and the PSN and GSM mobiles do digital to analogue
conversion in an A-law codec built into the equipment. Usually you can
then set the volume of both the microphone and earphone by
programming. I would check the manual to see if this is possible.
It sounds to me you have full volume on both.

Hi, No settings in the manual for this for my ASUS 200 ST EXTERNAL,and
I don't know if it helps but it ONLY happens with Cellnet (I have
tried with Vodaphone,Orange and Mercury) all of which are ok ????
