However, since installing the program on my new PC (WinXP, P4 2.66Ghz, 512Mb
RAM, 128Mb GeForce4 MX440 graphics), occasionally when I check my email and
click on the red 'Delete Selected Messages' button after selecting some
messages, the program craps out and disappears so I have to run it again. This
can happen twice before I load it up again and it works as it's meant to.
It worked fine on my previous PC (WinXP, P4 2.6Ghz, 512Mb RAM, 128Mb ATI
Radeon 9600TX graphics - which I used for 3 months. It was a Medion PC with
shitty TV output - google Medion and my name for details) and my Win98SE PC
before that.
The first time I installed this program on the new PC, I just copied across
the mailkill and .ini file instead of inserting all the details of my email
accounts manually. Perhaps it was that. So I deleted it all and did a fresh
install of the program to a new folder. Still doing the same, so I don't know
if it was that which screwed it up, but I don't think so given that I've
reinstalled it to a new folder.
The website says that the program is no longer supported, and I didn't like
Mailwasher by comparison. Can anyone help with this please? TIA,
