Been using Win95 and Turnpike V5.01. Had system problems that resulted
in having to reload Win95, which then created application problems,
mostly that I have solved by reloading the applications. I have reloaded
Turnpike but cannot get Connect to work
The connection can only be "Direct connection - no dialling". Attempting
to Install a modem will take me through installing a modem, but the
choices in the drop down box do not change.
I can start the modem from the DUN and then run connect and it will
allow me access my mail etc but starting from the Connect screen I get a
"You will need to purchase a Universal Site ID if you wish to use
Turnpike with access provider other than Demon"
I appear to have exhausted ideas from the help desk who have had me
reinstall Turnpike, the modem and the DUN.
Initially after reloading Win 95 there was a conflict with an old
network card, which I have now removed from the system
Any ideas would be much appreciated
